Who It's For
Maybe You.
If you’ve made it this far, we’re hoping ClimateDelta might be for you.
By now you know how we see the world. Weather creates enormous financial exposure across industries, geographies, and economies. Too much of that risk remains unmanaged. The gap between what is exposed and what is protected is too large.
We think that gap can close.
Technology can make more weather risk measurable. Better analytics can make more of it understandable. New products and insurance programs can make more of it transferable. Better connections between market participants can make the entire system work more efficiently. And AI is expanding what individuals and organizations can accomplish.
But one company isn’t going to build the Weather Risk Economy.
We’re living through an extraordinary period of change. Weather is changing. Technology is changing. Financial markets are changing. AI is changing what individuals and organizations can accomplish.
In fact, these may be hyperexponential times—a period when multiple forces are accelerating simultaneously, interacting with one another, and creating possibilities that would have been difficult to imagine only a few years ago.
We don’t know exactly where all of this leads.
That’s part of what makes it interesting.
New risks will emerge. Existing risks will become measurable in new ways. New forms of protection will become possible. New sources of capital will enter the market. And people with imagination will find opportunities that aren’t obvious today.
We want to work with those people.
So if you’re a broker, underwriter, trader, insurer, reinsurer, MGA, MGU, capital provider, data company, index provider, technology company, risk owner—or something we haven’t thought of yet—and something you’ve read here intrigues you, we’d like to hear from you.
If you see an opportunity, call us.
If you have an unusual weather risk, call us.
If you have an idea for a product or program that doesn’t exist yet, call us.
And if you don’t see what you’re looking for, definitely call us.
We like difficult problems. We like curious people. We like working with people who look at something that hasn’t been done before and wonder why.
ClimateDelta is a platform. What ultimately gets built on it will depend upon the people who decide to participate.
So perhaps the better question isn’t:
Who is ClimateDelta for?
It’s:
What could we build together?
Let’s talk.
